Community guide

Share the settings. Keep control.

A shared setup is a small, reviewed set of camera or flight settings. Sharing is manual; your local collection stays private until you choose a setup to submit.

Find a setup that fits

Browse Community by Camera, Fly Free or FPV Drone, search the collection, then open a setup to inspect every included value. Only approved public revisions appear in the collection. A review checks Community rules; it does not certify compatibility with every game build, device or scene.

An empty category means there are no approved matching setups yet. No sample submissions or fictional authors are presented as member content.

Review before submitting

  1. Choose a setup to share

Use a Community-capable CAM build to select Camera, Fly Free or FPV settings. A normal backup, diagnostic file or .live.json preset is not a Community export.

  2. Inspect the public preview

Review the allowlisted settings and write a short title and description without links or personal information. Choose an explicit public alias; your account email is not used as the public author.

  3. Give consent and submit

Sharing requires a signed-in account with active membership and an explicit consent step. A submission stays private while it awaits owner review. Nothing is uploaded just because you save or use a preset.

  4. Track the decision

Open My shared setups to see pending, approved, rejected, withdrawn or removed status. Review notes explain a moderation decision. Editing creates a new pending revision; an earlier approved version can remain public until the edit is approved or you withdraw it.

Exactly what is shared

No controller mappings, hardware IDs, saved world positions, Estate locations, game files, logs, account credentials or payment details are included. Images and arbitrary links are not accepted. Keep the title, description and alias free of private details too.

Camera
Relative camera pose, lens mode, FOV, blend time and suggested game view
Fly Free
FOV, movement style, speed tier, smoothing, look rate and precision/boost scales
FPV Drone
FOV and allowlisted flight tune values such as rates, thrust, gravity, drag and camera tilt

Preview, then apply in CAM

  1. Download the reviewed setup

Open the setup detail page and choose Download setup JSON. The file contains a versioned category, title, description and allowlisted settings; it does not contain the author’s account identity.

  2. Open the Community import

Use the Community import in a compatible CAM build and inspect the preview. Importing is an explicit action. Older CAM builds without Community import cannot use this file directly; use the registered software updater when the compatible release is available.

  3. Apply deliberately

Confirm the selected settings in CAM. A Camera setup can affect the live angle only when you explicitly apply it. Flight import stays locked and does not restore an origin, controller mapping or an armed state.

  4. Check a short parked session

Prepare the correct mode, capture a fresh origin and verify controls before arming. For Xbox FPV Mode 2, hold the left stick fully down and confirm 0% throttle. Center is about 50%, not zero.

Edit, withdraw or report

My shared setups lets you revise a submission for another review or withdraw it. Withdrawal removes the public listing and cancels the pending submission. It cannot recall copies others have already downloaded. You can manage and withdraw existing setups after membership expiry; submitting or editing requires active access.

Use Report this setup on a public detail page for privacy, unsafe or misleading content, spam or another concern. Reports are private to the moderation team and do not automatically remove a setup. An active membership is required for the report form; anyone with a privacy concern can contact support.
